• Learning Outcomes – By the end of training all participants will have:
• Enhanced confidence, responsiveness and awareness for supporting survivors of trauma and abuse.
• Awareness of effective short and long-term strategies for reducing distress and gaining control.
• Acquired skills and knowledge to work collaboratively with trauma survivors to help them reclaim ownership of their experiences and work towards recovery.

21st July 2011 – Working with Dissociation

• Learning Outcomes – By the end of training all participants will have:
• Greater understanding of the continuum of dissociative experiences.
• Increased knowledge and confidence in working therapeutically with dissociative experiences and use of the DES-II.
• Awareness of working with & mapping different parts.
• Awareness of effective short and long-term strategies for reducing dissociation and increasing co-consciousness & awareness.

Suitable for anyone wishing to understand more about healing from trauma and working with dissociation, including mental health/social service professionals, psychotherapists and counsellors, voluntary sector workers, survivors and their friends, families and allies.
